Wade S. Wineman, Jr.     

 

    Wade S. Wineman, Jr. became infatuated with the wild turkey on his first hunt in the spring of 1959.  Since then, he has hunted and studied the bird avidly.  He loves both reading and writing about the old days of turkey hunting.

     He was educated at Virginia Military Institute and Mississippi State University, where he received a B. S. degree in Agricultural Economics and an M.B.A.  He lives with his wife in Greenville, MS.
